This agreement sets out the rights and obligations of members and those of BA Staff Reunited in regard to using the site. By registering or accessing the BA Staff Reunited site you agree to be bound by this agreement and accept that you are entering into a contract with BA Staff Reunited under the terms of this agreement.
Please make sure your e-mail address is current and you have full access to it. It is each member's responsibility to ensure their e-mail address is current on the "My Profile" page.
Users who register on the BA Staff Reunited site become "Members" and must be at least 18 years of age. Membership is divided into two categories.
Part Members
This service is free. These members may post their details on the site including a photo in order for colleagues to see they are 'on board'. They may read other member's profiles but cannot contact other members unless the fee is tendered.
Full Members
These members can use all the site facilities including posting their name, profile details and photos. They are able to contact other members (Part and Full Members) to inform them they are 'on board' as well as responding to messages from members wishing to contact them. Messages are sent via the members e-mail address given on registration. Full Membership is activated when the fee is received. If membership is withdrawn for any reason all details will be deleted, however no refund can be given.
Full Membership is for a period of 12 months and will need to be renewed to continue using the site facilities. Membership may lapse if we are unable to take payment using your selected payment method. Please note that we reserve the right to change the amount of the fee for Full Membership and the period of cover and the facilities it enables access to.
If asked to provide details of a credit, debit or charge card, you must ensure that you are entitled to use that card and sufficient funds are available to cover the charge deducted from it. As part of the registration process for BA Staff Reunited you will receive a verification e-mail to ensure the nominated address at registration is yours. This will contain simple instructions which you must follow to enable access to the site facilities.
BA Staff Reunited is not responsible for the behaviour of Members on the site or outside of it. Our role is to provide a venue where BA Staff Reunited users can be in contact. BA Staff Reunited will terminate any Member's access to the site if any Member is found to be abusive, discriminatory, threatening or harassing or communicates offensive messages or images to another Member whether or not through the BA Staff Reunited Service. Membership will be withdrawn if the site is used to bring British Airways into disrepute either with text or images.
Neither email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers or any information intended to engage in direct communication may be included in 'My Profile' or in messages sent to other users through this website.
Users may not place material on or use the BA Staff Reunited site for business or commercial purpose or use the service or information gathered from it for sending unsolicited bulk emails. Members must agree to BA Staff Reunited manually vetting this information in order to veto any abuse.
Members are responsible for ensuring that no material posted on the site or through any computer used to access the BA Staff Reunited site or any activity or communication made in connection with BA Staff Reunited will infringe the intellectual property or rights of any person or breach any law, whether criminal or otherwise or appearing to be offensive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, false, libellous, defamatory, unreliable or misleading.
Members have a responsibility to ensure no-one else uses the BA Staff Reunited service on that member's machine while it is "logged on" to BA Staff Reunited and to log off or exit from BA Staff Reunited when finished and to keep his/her password secret.
If any Member perceives content on the BA Staff Reunited Site infringes this Agreement or brings BA Staff Reunited into disrepute please inform us using the 'Contact Us' facility.
Use of the BA Staff Reunited site is entirely at your own risk. BA Staff Reunited has no control over or responsibility for the truth or accuracy of any material provided by Members on the site. Caution should be exercised and you should note that people might not necessarily be who they say they are. Accordingly, to the extent that the law permits, you release BA Staff Reunited from all liability.
You acknowledge that all copyright and intellectual property rights relating to the BA Staff Reunited site (including material contributed by Members) are owned by BA Staff Reunited. By submitting material to the site you are agreeing that you are fully entitled to do so.
You agree to indemnify BA Staff Reunited against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of this Agreement by you or by any means by which you access the BA Staff Reunited Service.
Your personal data will only be kept as long as is necessary for the purposes for which you consent under BA Staff Reunited Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy or as is required by applicable law.
BA Staff Reunited may offer further facilities on the site in future which may be subject to additional terms, conditions or rules.
If due to technical difficulties the BA Staff Reunited Site becomes inaccessible on the Internet we will use all possible skills to overcome these difficulties where they are within our control.
